The A+ Technical Training Program

The A+ Technical Training Program is a 40-hour course that
covers material found on the A+ Core Hardware Service Technician
Examination and the A+ Operating Systems Technologies Examination.
These examinations are designed to cover material that measures
essential competencies for an entry-level PC hardware service
technician with six months of on-the-job experience.

Upon course completion, examinees must demonstrate basic knowledge of
microcomputer systems in the following areas: installing; configuring;
upgrading; troubleshooting; repairing; Command Line Prompt; Windows 9x;
and Windows 2000.
|
The A+ Technical Training Program, offered by JES & Co.�s Encompass Academy,
complements the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) program
through: generous licensing, extensive class materials at grade appropriate
reading levels and format, staff development, and curriculum support.
