Community Based Programs

Community Based Programs

JES & Co.s Community Based Programs include a variety of offerings that complement core academic and vocational technology training courses at the primary, secondary and post secondary levels. From professional consulting to internship programs, from teacher training to students rebuilding computers, these Programs enrich educational institutions by involving students, teachers, and the community at large. Each of the Community Based Programs provides a complete and managed deliverable, all of which can be customized for your organizations particular needs. The following comprise JES & Co.s Community Based Programs:

The IT/HOT Program (Information Technology Hands-On Training) - The IT/HOT Program supplements JES & Co.s training and staff development efforts by organizing and managing intern programs that give technology students near graduation an opportunity to work for schools and non-profit organizations in areas related to their field of study.

The PACI Program (Partnering to Advance Community Involvement) - The PACI Program provides computer technology and expertise to organizations that specialize in youth activities that foster the expansion of social, educational and life skills. PACI partners work with JES & Co. to link mentors, interns and volunteers to public and private funding opportunities in order to benefit youth and the community.

The STAR Program (2nd Time Around) - The STAR Program organizes a community-based effort to teach youth how to rebuild computer systems, add value to them through corporate donations and sponsorship, and return the refurbished units to non-profit, charitable and needy organizations serving youth and the community.

The STAIR Program - The STAIR Program is designed to help assure that your organization is on track with your implementation plan. Rolling out a significant technology project can be a daunting task for schools and other organizations already stretched thin. JES & Co.s senior consultants ask questions and listen to answers to make your implementation take place efficiently.

The STEP Program (Student Technology Education Partnership) - The STEP Program hires students to deploy your organizations technology plan including computer hardware, software, and network setup.

The T3 Program (Technology Training for Teachers) - The T3 Program develops and delivers courses and special training geared especially for educators and technical staff in education.
