The IMS Global Learning Consortium (IMS) dedicated an entire day to the Global Learning Resource Connection (GLRC) during the recent quarterly international workshops on Wednesday, November 16, 2010. The attendees represented countries from around the world including the U.S. Department of Education, Australia, the Netherlands, Korea, Germany, UK, and more. European Schoolnet was in attendance representing 27 countries and demonstrated the IMS/GLRC integration. The IMS international workshops were held at Lone Star College in The Woodlands, Texas.

Jon Phipps of JES & Co. will be participating in multiple roles at the Dublin Core-2010 International Conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications October 20-22, 2010 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Phipps will also be giving a SKOS update on a panel at ASIST2010 which is part of this joint conference.
