ASN Tools and Services
The Achievement Standards Network (ASN) provides services to enable a developer to view the collection of documents included in the ASN database, view the hierarchy of statements within a standards document, use web services to return the list of documents based on jurisdiction and subject , export the standards data in RDF/XML for use in a local application and resolve the Uniform Resource Identifier assigned to each statement in the collection.
The ASN is made up of the following tools and services:
- ASN Standards Locator - Browse the ASN repository and view/download various national, state, organization and local standards.
- ASN Resource Description Editor (RDE) - A configurable ASN RDF standards editor. Create ASN standards documents and statements in this easy-to-use authoring environment. Using the ASN RDE you can quickly transform your standards into linked data - RDF. If you are interested in using the ASN RDE please contact us.
- ASN Resolution Service - Resolve ASN URI's over the web into a variety of machine readable formats including RDF/XML, RDF/JSON, Turtle and N3.
- ASN Web Services - There are a few web services that can be called by applications: Get a list of documents by Jurisdiction; Get a list of Subjects in the ASN; Filter document selection by Jurisdiction, Subject, Publication Status
- ASN SPARQL Endpoint - Interact with the ASN repository and create custom queries using SPARQL. See our documentation on how to use the ASN SPARQL Endpoint.
- ASN Faceted Search - Search the ASN repository in a faceted search environment.
- ASN Mapping Tool - Align ASN standards (statement-to-statement) and Correlate ASN standards (statement-to-learning resources). If you are interested in using the ASN Mapping Tool please contact us.
