They want to know if all popular snacks are bad for you and how to determine the nutritional value of various snacks. Explorers Project Students will apply the research process for this multiple class unit. They will read about a particular explorer, learn about their aims, challenges and accomplishments, and will trace the routes they followed on maps. As a group, they will generate questions to use during the "Interview with an Explorer" section.
